The headline of the sales letter needs to get the reader’s attention. Its job is to make them want to know more (and actually read the rest). The secret? Be sure the headline makes a specific promise that relates to your prospects’ needs or interests. If, for instance, you offer domestic cleaning services, don’t use a headline such as “Want Cleaning Services?” in your letter. Instead use something such as, “Your Whole House Sparkling Clean—We Do It for You so You Don’t Have To!”
Now that you know how important search engine optimization is to all of your digital marketing efforts, you may be wondering how you can optimize your site and content for best results. If you are writing a sales letter, then your primary concern is going to be grabbing eyeballs for the product or service that you are selling. For this, you will need to ensure that not only is your letter direct and to the point, but also enlists all the benefits that your potential client could gain from using your product. Given below are some tips that will help you write a letter, that is effective and beneficial for your company.

Digital marketing doesn’t differentiate between push and pull marketing tactics (or what we might now refer to as ‘inbound’ and ‘outbound’ methods). In other words, digital outbound tactics aim to push a marketing message directly in front of as many people as possible online -- regardless of whether it’s relevant or welcomed. For example, the irritating, flashing banner ads you see at the top of lots of websites try to push a product or promotion onto people who aren’t necessarily ready to receive it.
Tip #10 – Once you’ve paid your dues and you can actually write something that makes your clients money, make sure you attend the most popular marketing seminars. Anything by Dan Kennedy is a winner. Traffic and Conversion summit is another one. And read a book or two on how to network. Going there without knowing how to network will be a waste of your time. Start with: Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi. That book changed my life.

Tip #4 – The best copywriting courses out there will probably cost you a thousand bucks or more. I’m looking to purchase Gary Bencivenga’s program next. It’s a DVD home study course that costs $5,000. Does that sound like a lot? One project for me is worth between $15,000 and 25,000. If I learn one thing from that course that improves my copy enough to get more projects like that, then the $5,000 was a bargain.
Immediately I started using his copywriting style to sell my own dating advice programs, and it worked! My conversions improved, my income went up, and I was hooked. At that time I still wasn’t making enough to not have a job, so I began offering my copywriting services to people on The Warrior Forum (a free discussion forum where thousands of online marketers congregate). I posted on there offering a free copywriting critique to anyone who asked. In the critique I gave several pointers that would help them improve their copy, and then I offered them a discounted price for a full sales letter since they bothered to contact me.

What a great list. I always enjoy your examples and the way you illuminate them with your analysis. I just went to check out Mailchimp’s T&Cs and you’re right, they’re strangely pleasurable. So clear and engaging (!) – their use of “we” and “you” instead of “company/client” makes such a difference to the explanation. Who’d have thought it of T&Cs? I ended up reading the entire page. (I should probably get out more – but I have to go swipe another two or three of these sites first.)
Talk about the benefits of your product or service. These benefits will show your readers that they need what you have to offer. To make it more readable, use arrows, bullet points or other types of clever formatting. If you have a lot to say about your product or service, don’t hesitate to include everything. Unlike other business letters, one meant for sales doesn’t have to be just one page.
Search engine optimization not only brings more traffic to your website, but it also helps ensure that the leads you are bringing in are of a higher quality. The goal of digital marketing is to attract those who are right for your products or services, and SEO plays an important role in doing just that. By emphasizing certain keywords and topics within your content, you can work to reach those online who are most likely to be interested in your products or services.
The internet is your gateway to people who might one day become your customers. With an online presence, you can reach far more of the right people than you can by marketing your company solely offline. And if you do it the right way, you can get in front of the people who are likely to become your customers at the right moment in their buyer’s journey.
The key to creating great content assets that help support your digital marketing campaigns is strategically choosing topics that appeal most to your audience. If you haven’t already, make sure that you do some target audience research and even create customer personas to ensure that you know your customers well and can identify what types of content will attract and engage them at each step in the buyer’s journey.
1.  The Importance Of Influencers Will Increase. “B2C brands have become dependent on influencers as a way to engage with online customers,” says Filimonova. “While some B2B brands have jumped on this bandwagon, B2B marketers should focus on a different type of influencer in 2020: Their immediate network. Partners, customers and employees will become an even more essential part of a brand’s marketing strategy, as technology buyers are becoming more reliant on their peer network for solution knowledge.

You’ve asked your reader once. and you hope they're thinking about it. Add a P.S. to your sales letter to light a fire under your customer and get them to act right now. Use a carrot such as throwing in an additional bonus (“If you act right now, you’ll also receive…."), or a stick, such as reminding the customer that quantities are limited or the pricing will only last for a certain period of time (set a date).
Tip #12 – Create the habit of offering more value than you take. I learned that from the dating advice world. Always lead with the giving hand, not the taking hand. Do you think I get anything for writing this document up when I should be outside exploring France? Nope. But Neville has always been a giver with me and everyone else he interacts with. I’m volunteered to write this for him because he’s a friend. Maybe you’ll be a friend of mine in the future too. I don’t know. But I’m not doing this to get something out of it. I’m enjoying a lifestyle that most people dream about, and it’s thanks to all that I’ve learned over the years and the clients who supported me. I am more than happy to give back to the world in the form of helping you with this small collection if wisdom I’m sharing. Make sure you become someone who does the same.
