According to Mai (2012: 155–168), these two paths have rendered the cooperative interactions between the traditional and new media outlets far less frequent, if not totally suspended, and are likely to further alienate the newspapers from the original or latest new media departments. In other words, both paths create new administrative barriers whilst breaching or circumventing the original administrative barriers.
His most noted and famous work is the Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion, the introduction to a collection of poems written by a number of poets during a gathering at Lanting near the town of Shaoxing for the Spring Purification Festival. The original is lost, but the work survives in a number of finely traced copies, with the earliest and most well regarded copy being the one made between c. 627-650 by Feng Chengsu, and it is located in the Palace Museum in Beijing.

To encourage journalist participation, two newspaper offices in Fujian added ‘volume of news feeding to the centre’ in the their evaluation criteria for journalists’ work performance, and many other newspaper offices of the Fujian press industry stimulated the initiatives of journalists for collaboration with ‘remuneration’ (Gaofei) or ‘points’ (Gaofen). Motivated by these measures, a few journalists, particularly the young and junior ones, began to adapt to the working tempo of rapid publication and multiple ‘versions’ of a single story. Others, particularly old and senior journalists, had matter-of-fact reactions to such measures. From the perspective of the new media centre director and editors, the material rewards that failed to meet the expectations of journalists constitute the primary reason for the latter’s reluctance to participate. However, interviews with journalists revealed that their willingness to contribute news reports depends on the anticipated gains and the price that they may have to pay for such participation.
Consistent with the notion that rescuing lysosome numbers in C9ORF72 ALS iMNs might enable autophagic flux even with increased autophagosome formation, the increase in the ratio of GFP+mRFP+ vesicles to GFP–mRFP+ vesicles upon 3K3A-APC treatment was modest compared with the overall increase in GFP+mRFP+ vesicles in both C9ORF72 and sporadic ALS iMNs (Supplemental Figure 2, R and S; 3 C9ORF72 ALS patients and 5 sporadic ALS patients). Thus, 3K3A-APC treatment increases autophagy in C9ORF72 and sporadic ALS iMNs by rescuing both autophagosome formation and lysosome numbers.
In particular, the Chongzhen Emperor's execution of Yuan Chonghuan on extremely flimsy grounds was regarded as the decisively fatal blow. At the time of his death, Yuan was supreme commander of all Ming forces in the northeast, and had just rushed from the borders to defend the capital against a surprise Manchu invasion. For much of the preceding decade, Yuan had served as the Ming Empire's bulwark in the north, where he was responsible for securing Ming borders at a time when the Empire was suffering humiliating defeat after defeat. His unjust death destroyed Ming military morale and removed one of the greatest obstacles to the eventual Manchu conquest of China.

We next determined if 3K3A-APC’s ability to rescue autophagosome production, increase lysosomal numbers, lower levels of DPRs and mislocalized TDP-43, and lower glutamate receptor levels could rescue the degeneration of ALS iMNs. We first tested the ability of the iMN survival assay to replicate the neuroprotective effects previously shown for activated protein C in SOD1G93A mice (20). iMNs derived from an ALS patient carrying an SOD1A4V mutation degenerated significantly faster than control iMNs (Figure 5A and Supplemental Figure 5A; 3 controls and 1 SOD1A4V ALS patient) and 3K3A-APC rescued their survival (Figure 5A and Supplemental Figure 5A; 1 SOD1A4V ALS patient). Thus, the iMN model mimics disease biology observed in vivo.
The term ‘domestication’ originally refers to the process of bringing wild animals or plants under control and using them for food or as pets. In journalism research, ‘domestication’ generally refers to journalism practitioners establishing an association between a foreign news event and the domestic audience by applying certain strategies of representation (Gurevitch et al., 1991). In this study, ‘domestication’ describes the strong institutional inertia under which new media outlets have been progressively involved in the orbit of newspapers. Accordingly, this process homogenises the new media outlets with the system, routines and cultures of traditional media.
Taking advantage of Fuchai's expedition to his north to defeat Qi, Goujian led his army and successfully attacked the Wu capital, killing the Wu crown prince, You. In the 24th year of his reign (473 BC), Goujian led another expedition against Wu, laying siege to the capital for three years before it fell. When a surrender from Fuchai was refused, Fuchai committed suicide and Wu was annexed by Yue. After his victory, Goujian ruthlessly killed Fuchai's scholars, even those who helped him (including Bo Pi), not allowing himself to make the same mistake Fuchai had made by sparing the lives of his enemies. However, Goujian would not stop there; he would later force Wen Zhong to commit suicide; Fan Li, knowing that Goujian was a man who can share woe but not wealth together, left Goujian after the defeat of Wu.
